Jillian 17. Female ---------------------------------------- I felt that night, on the stage, incredibly close to everything in the universe, but also extremely alone. I wondered, for the first time in my life, if life was worth all the work it took to live. What exactly made it worth it? What’s so horrible about being dead forever, and not feeling anything, and not even dreaming? What’s so great about feeling and dreaming? — Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close CHITCHAT

From Bondi to Paddington Saturday Shopping Session? FUN FILLED AND TIRING. What can I say we walked from Paddington all the way to Surry Hills and then down to Central. Oh and did I mention we started off at Bondi Junction first? Trekked around Bondi Junction first in search of the FCUK bag that seems to be nowhere? and also light wash denim short shorts which seem to only come in micro shorts or super-frayed-i-should-just-rip-my-own-jeans type of shorts. After we walked all around Bondi (including the stores where we can't afford anything), caught the bus to Paddington and set out to buy those shorts and my purple necklace for formal! We walked through Paddington Markets, The Fringe Bar Markets and all the way down to Oxford St. where we turned into Surry Hills and proceeded to check out the vintage stores. Extremely FUN but also tiring considering that it was a really hot day and I was wearing jeans (like an idiot because it was cold in the morning :( ).Paddington Markets : Typical market I guess, sorta reminds me of The Rocks Markets except a lot more pricier and more hrm fashion centered and less tourist-attraction-ey like! I think the main attraction was the guy OUTSIDE the markets -> he was carving patterns in fruit!! SO TALENTED!!! The Fringe Bar Markets: WHAT MORE IS THERE TO SAY!! OMG! I love this place! It's set in a bar with all these little stalls inside. The stalls all have quite unique clothing and jewellery (guys AND girls) and and everything is so I don't know.. exclusive. Some stalls had some really cute skirts! but $45 :( a bit on the expensive side.. and we saw some spectacular jewellery! ohh man I just want to buy it all. They have their own DJ as well! I think the guy was Jap as well.. and the bar was actually open!! If only I was 18.. :P Ray Bans for $35! Yeah then after that was normal shopping in the city, the usual nothing interesting to write about :) by the end of the day I didn't get my purple necklace but we found those shorts! :D Saturday, November 7, 2009

Third time unlucky? SO! yesterday I went to Martin Place to donate blood for the second time.. I thought okay maybe the nurse that I had the first time was crap or something.. I should be fine this time? I was so wrong. Firstly the nurse who did my right arm couldn't find my vein so she shoved it randomly in my arm - THIS WAS SOO PAINFUL! she didn't even shove it in gently. When she YANKED it out of my arm and I kept bleeding non stop ( like bleeding through bandages and cotton balls ) for about 30 mins.. they had to get someone to apply pressure on it while they did my other arm. Apparently it's part of their policy to change nurses if the first attempt fails? So yeah I had this man doing my left arm. They spread this yellow thing on your arm first and then they put the needle in.. The guy was so rough he didn't put the needle in properly and he kept twisting and turning it. I could feel EVERYTHING and the machine kept beeping because apparently i have 'too many valves'.. In the end, I didn't donate enough for them to use and I left with bruises on both arms. so I did this thing called a colour quiz and apparently it tells me about my personality Take the Colour Quiz Jillian's Existing SituationDesperately needs a close relationship with an affectionate and accepting partner; or some other way to be recognized and known. Jillian's Stress Sources"Needs to meet people who have the same high principals and values as herself, but finds the need unfulfilled. Her need to feel dominate and superior leaves her feeling isolated and does not allow for her to give freely of herself. She would like to surrender and let go, but sees that as a weakness she must not give in to. Holding back will allow her to stand out for the crowd and earn a higher status, recognized by others as unique and important." Jillian's Restrained Characteristics"Feels she is getting less than she deserves for all her hard work; however, she makes no effort to change things and tries to make the best of the situation." Emotionally distant even from those closest to her. Her confidence is low but she is unable to admit that is the reason for her avoidance of conflict. Feels it is a situation out of her control and she is making the best of it. Jillian's Desired Objective"Highly optimistic and outgoing personality. Loves to learn new and exciting things, and craves new interests. Looking for a well-rounded life full of success and new experiences. Does not allow herself to be overcome with negative thoughts or self-doubt. Takes life head on, with enthusiasm. " Jillian's Actual Problem"Enjoys making new plans and goals, but needs to be respected and admired for the things she accomplishes." Sort of accurate I guess? guys tell me what you get! I went to donate blood today at Red Cross - severly disappointed, will blog about it later - the bruises on my arms are killing me and the mozzie bite on my foot is really annoying Monday, November 2, 2009
MySpace-Countdowns For all you physics people :) 終わった!!! IT IS THE END! The two year journey that I have embarked on has finally come to and end! The elation you feel when you know that all those late night "study" sessions and sleepless nights full of anxiety has paid off can only be understood when ... YOU EAT MCDONALD'S GRAND ANGUS BURGER! A thick, tender patty of succulent Australian Angus beef, gently resting under a canopy of "gourmet" baby salad leaves, ripened tomatoes, a red onion garnish and a lively infusion of mustard and mayonnaise, all encased in a pillar of soft sour dough. Possibly the best way to reward yourself after all that effort.. satisfying your hunger after you step out of a 3 hour long chemistry exam. :) Even though it is the end of the road, It doesn't feel like it at all.. I still think that I'm going to walk into another exam.. I'm happy yet sad because I realised that it was my last day wearing my uniform at school. When you have school you try to avoid going as much as you can - you sit in class and day dream about the holidays, what you're gonna do in the holidays. So now it's the holidays. What should I do? 1. Eat angus burger DONE! I'll leave 2 for tomorrow :) But for now good luck to all the people who are still doing exams! Sunday, November 1, 2009
