If This City Never Sleeps.

I've been looking at new ways to decorate my room! The only thing I can remember from watching The Renovators and Top Design is that you should try and maximize light in the room by using light colours and mirrors if you have a small room. That's the case for me! I've been looking at a few interior design journals and magazines lately to get some inspiration but it is deeming to be a very hard task.

Anyways! all this house business has got me thinking - What would be my dream home?
Would I be satisfied living in a nice little cosy cottage with a big backyard? or would I be the type to live in a high rise apartment on top of a shopping centre?

At the moment I think I'm more inclined to say my dream home is a modern two storey home close to the city. By modern, I want to be able to do all the interior design myself! (or with the help of my sister who has more expertise in that area). Perhaps I'll indulge by having a walk in shoe room!

We went exploring in Katoomba and discovered a little vintage shop called Mr Pickwicks! It's a book store that sells antiques and vintage clothing as well!

It was pretty cool! It had that musty vintage smell to accompany it as well. I forgot to take a picture of the massive penguin books wall :( It was pretty much orange from the spines of the penguin books!

Today I had organic lemon lime bitters all the way from New Zealand. Yeah... I wasn't a big fan, it tasted too much like beer and was too sour! I think I prefer my normal Bunderburg Lemon Lime Bitters! or better yet, the cheap Yardhouse version!

Tomorrow I'll be starting work at a new place and will be doing some introductory training at Holiday Inn! I'm quite excited but at the same time I feel like my holiday has come to an end. It's time to pick up my game and get back to regular sleeping patterns.
