Wattamolla

Wattamolla means the place near running water in aboriginal! It is most definitely one of the more beautiful scenic areas of Sydney. Being the pasty city asian girl that I am, I would never have imagined that I would actually go hiking at the Royal National Park on a 27 degree day!

Normally I try and avoid being in the sun because I know that I burn really really easily even when I apply a tonne of sun screen. I also dislike the idea of hiking but I thought that it was time to try something new and crawl out of the sheltered ditch that I've been hiding in. It was also nice to hang out with people that I haven't seen for a while and form closer bonds with those whom I didn't know that well.

A shot of Gaire Beach from the top of the hike!

Hair going crazy.

Wattamolla

After visiting two beaches, I was exhausted from all the walking around, running around and getting owned by waves. We then went to Yummy at Bevo Hills and ate dinner :).

Fun times!

Now to go nurse my sunburns..
I got sunburnt behind my knees - what the heck?!?!?!
